Hi, my name is Wayne Lambright, and I have been a
salesperson since the age of nine. My first sales memory was when I
sold candy bars
for my school. They were $.50 - $.25 for the bar and $.25 for the
school. I charged $.75 - $.25 for the bar, $.25 for school, and $.25
for Wayne, I ended up top in sales. It was a win win for everybody.
After that auspicious beginning, I had many enterprises as a teen
- I had my own worm farm, paper route, and lawn mowing route.
During college
I worked as a BMW technician, after college I was a mortgage banker,
and after four years I tired of banking and wanted more action,
so I entered the luxury cars market.
For nearly seven years
I sold BMW, Porsche and Land
Rover vehicles, and during this
time, I sensed a need for used car portals. So, in
1996 I
taught myself to program dynamically-driven Web sites and created
some very popular automotive portals - my most famous is http://UsedMotorHome.com.
Also during this time, I found that there were products I needed
that didn’t exist, so out of necessity I made them.
In my search for solutions, I created my own list of helpful
Web
sites.
Little
did I know,
however, that I was laying down the bricks for a very popular
developer portal named http://UltradevExtensions.com.
I learned as I went along, and I consistently kept a journal
of things that made my sites STICKY. The results of this
learning process turned
into this book.
Building a site is one thing, making it sticky is another. In
this book you will learn the secrets that bring people back.
This is a concise book, like a "Chicken Soup for the
Soul" or "Life’s
Little Instruction Book" for people who build
Web sites or run money making Web sites.

I LOVE IT....your tips are great!
I went to a web marketing seminar two years ago and became very opinionated
about how the web should work, and everything you've written in your tips
is 100% true. I wish every graphic artist
who claims to be a web guru knew this stuff!

I read through the entire site last night
I really dig it, I will be checking back often. You gave some great information
out and some great links to other
sites that are very interesting.
Thanks,

Your
tips are great and amazingly a lot of them I have done before I read
your book and some not. I must say if people will "stick" no pun
intended to what you suggest I think the web would be a lot more profitable
place.
Thanks.
